About the Summer Intens-ive
The Koin & Co Summer Intens-ive is just that — intense — designed to push, challenge & GROW dancers within an extremely versatile schedule!
Since 2016, Koin & Co has proudly closed out July with New York City’s elite professional summer training experience for young dancers. In 2026, the Intens-ive takes place July 24–26, delivering the same high-level impact in a focused weekend format.
What makes Koin & Co’s Intens-ive stand out & set us apart? The K&C Intens-ive is truly one of a kind. Our faculty is diverse across ALL genres — not centered around a single syllabus (ie; ballet, movement, or street styles) — creating an unmatched lineup of educators & perspectives.
Each day is thoughtfully structured & packed with classes, seminars, mentorship, and industry insight to develop dancers not only as artists, but as humans navigating the professional world.
This Intens-ive is not designed for the faint-hearted or recreational dancer. It is for focused dancers ready to grow, be challenged, and expand their professional network. Koin & Co is never distracted by trends or viral names — instead, faculty are intentionally selected for their deep roots in the dance industry and their commitment to providing safe, supportive spaces where minors can train, connect, and build forward momentum.
Aside from providing top-notch training, the Intens-ive structure is intentionally designed to support dancers not only physically, but mentally as well. Your dancer is not just a $$$ here at Koin & Co — every individual matters. Dancers receive name tags with their names (not numbers), lunch breaks are shared in an inclusive circle to encourage connection & community-building, and registration is capped to ensure each participant receives meaningful attention and a successful learning experience.
The environment cultivated at Koin & Co prioritizes the dancer’s growth — not a director’s ego or status. Whether joining us for the summer or participating in one of our full-time programs, Koin & Co is committed to nurturing, supporting, and refining the next generation.
The Koin & Co Summer Intens-ive runs

The faculty lineup features a mix of prominent East & West Coast educators who deliver high-quality training across styles while reaching a wide range of ages & levels. Dancers ages 13+ are invited to participate, and it is recommended that attendees have a solid foundation — at minimum an advanced beginner understanding of most styles — to ensure the best possible experience & growth.
