ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Elevate Your Artistic Journey
The ProApprentice Program at Koin & Co is designed as a pivotal step for emerging artists, ages 20–25, ready to refine their talents and advance their careers. This selective program offers a dynamic opportunity to sharpen professional skills, strengthen leadership abilities, and stay ahead of the curve in an ever-evolving industry.
Created for dancers already training at an advanced level, the ProApprentice Program focuses not only on elevating artistry, but also on cultivating leadership, mentorship, and inclusivity. Apprentices are expected to lead by example, positively influencing younger dancers and contributing to a supportive, inspiring community.
This program is intended to complement—not replace—each dancer’s ongoing professional training. We believe in the power of diverse training experiences while maintaining the importance of consistency in your core schedule. To best honor this balance, ProApprentices commit to:
Sunday Training Days:
Weekly classes from 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM (September through May)Weekly Mentorship Meetings:
Weekly professional development check-ins, can be one-on-one or with all ProApprentices.Broadway Dance Center Guest Pass:
Complimentary access to select classes with Director Ali Koinoglou.
The ProApprentice Program mirrors the pace and demands of a working professional, preparing artists for the realities of a multifaceted career across dance, acting, singing, and more — all within a warm, mentorship-driven environment.
Our ultimate goal is to empower young artists to cultivate their craft, expand their leadership, and confidently take the next steps toward their professional dreams.
Program Structure
The ProApprentice Program runs from September to May and is divided into two semesters: Fall and Spring.
Sundays: Full training days featuring a wide range of styles and instructors to challenge and diversify each artist’s skillset.
Enrollment is limited to five dedicated artists each season, ensuring personalized attention, meaningful mentorship, and a true sense of community.
ProApprentices train alongside the next generation of dancers, providing valuable opportunities to develop leadership, teaching, and collaborative skills — all essential tools for a lasting career in the arts.
Mock Audition Series
Throughout the season, Junior Training Program dancers work with major NYC talent agencies through our Mock Audition Series (MAS).
The MAS is a true benchmark of growth, allowing dancers to put their progress to the test in front of real agents and choreographers. Through this process, many dancers across past seasons have earned agency meetings and, in some cases, formal representation.
ProApprentices also participate in each mock audition to gain valuable industry insight, sharpen their audition skills, and be seen by leading agents.
ProApprentice Piece
A piece will be set exclusively on the ProApprentices participating in the Spring Showcase. This is where all of your hard work, dedication, and growth are celebrated — a truly meaningful moment to honor everything you’ve built throughout the year.
Spring Showcase
The season culminates in an incredible Spring Showcase, celebrating the time, commitment, and artistry dancers have cultivated while training with Koin & Co.
The showcase is split into two performances:
Industry Showcase: A private viewing for invited agents and industry professionals.
Family & Friends Showcase: A celebratory performance open to dancers’ families, friends, and our broader community.
Koin & Co Director Ali Koinoglou created this program out of her own experience — once a young artist arriving eagerly in New York City, she quickly realized how unprepared many dancers were for the true demands of the professional industry. Through Koin & Co, she has built the ultimate training platform to bridge that gap, empowering dancers to succeed both on and off the stage.
